Part Time, Monday – Friday, 9am – 3pm (27.5 Hours per week)

£19,066.66 (£26K FTE)

 

The Business Support Administrator will play a central role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office environment. Acting as a key coordination point across facilities, administration, finance support, and employee/visitor services, the successful candidate will help maintain an efficient, safe, and well-organised workplace. This is a varied role suited to an individual who enjoys multitasking, problem-solving, and working collaboratively across departments.

Business Support Administrator Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate office and building maintenance, including contractor scheduling, inspections, and repairs.
  • Monitor issues through to resolution while supporting health & safety compliance and workplace improvements.
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, and visitor logistics, including meeting room coordination and on-site support.
  • Organise catering, internal events, training sessions, and wider office initiatives or projects.
  • Manage incoming deliveries and coordinate outgoing shipments via courier services.
  • Process purchase orders and invoices in line with company procedures.
  • Support customer account setup, credit checks, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Assist with financial reporting and maintain accurate records including fixed assets, licences, insurance, and company vehicles.
  • Support contract and licence administration processes.
  • Provide administrative support across departments, maintaining supplies, documentation, and accurate records.
  • Coordinate employee wellbeing initiatives and workplace safety responsibilities, including fire safety procedures.
  • Provide ad-hoc operational support as required.

Business Support Administrator Skills & Experience

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident managing competing priorities independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data.
  • Ability to follow established processes while adapting working style as needed.
