Business Development Executive – Packaging

A prestigious family-owned company based in Cannock is looking for a Business Development Executive to join its well-established team.
This exciting role is office based and would suit candidates with a background in packaging or FMCG background.
Key Responsibilities
Research prospect companies to create warm leads
Book meetings with decision makers using Telemarketing, emails, social media etc
Attend initial appointments where necessary
Attend Trade shows and exhibitions and follow up0 generated leads
Attend regional drop-ins and networking events
Execute direct marketing campaigns to decision makers
Maintain the database and prospect pipeline to achieve sales targets
Experience required
Previous experience in a similar sales role
Experience of the packaging for FMCG sector would be desirable
Ability to deal with people professionally at all levels via telephone, face to face and email
Excellent IT skills
Ability to work as a team and an individual
