Legal Support Assistant – Residential Property

Location: Oswestry

Salary: £24,600 – £26,700

Hours: 36.25 hours per week

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm for an experienced Legal Support Assistant to join their Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and professional environment, providing essential administrative and conveyancing support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative and conveyancing support to the Residential Property team.

Take client instructions and assist throughout the conveyancing process.

Submit property searches and monitor progress.

Assist clients with completing forms and required documentation.

Support the completion process, ensuring all related tasks are carried out accurately and efficiently.

Prepare forms for online submission.

Prepare and submit applications for registration of title.

Manage post-completion formalities in line with required timescales.

Liaise professionally with clients, solicitors and third parties throughout transactions.

Key Skills and Experience

Previous experience within residential conveyancing, or a strong background in high-level administrative support.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Strong IT skills, with experience using case management systems and online portals.

Excellent communication and customer service skills, including a professional telephone manner.

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.

Reliable, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

A professional approach when dealing with clients and colleagues.
