Delivery Manager
UK South, Hybrid/Remote – 1 to 2 days a month in the office.
£80,000 – £90,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Delivery Manager to join a growing technology and consultancy environment.
This is a key operational leadership position, responsible for ensuring the day-to-day stability, quality and consistency of service delivery across multiple teams. Working closely with Team Leaders, Project Managers and senior leadership, you will act as a central point of coordination, ensuring projects remain on track, operational issues are resolved quickly, and customers receive a consistently high standard of service.
Alongside operational delivery, you will work closely with the senior leadership team to identify and implement improvements that increase efficiency, strengthen delivery processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead and support Team Leaders across multiple delivery teams.
– Monitor team capacity, workload and resource allocation to ensure effective delivery.
– Oversee delivery standards, quality and adherence to agreed processes.
– Identify and resolve operational blockers, resource issues and delivery risks.
– Act as the first point of escalation for internal and customer delivery issues.
– Work closely with Project Managers, Account Management and supporting teams to maintain project continuity.
– Investigate root causes and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues.
– Provide senior leadership with visibility of project health, risks, resource requirements and team performance.
– Support commercial oversight, including scope changes, change control and forecasting.
– Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Experience
– 5+ years’ experience in project or service delivery at Team Leader or Manager level.
Hands-on experience delivering ERP projects, ideally within Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central.
– Proven experience managing multiple workstreams, teams and customer priorities.
– Strong customer-facing experience across discovery, UAT, go-live and post-go-live.
– Experience managing escalations, resolving blockers and identifying root causes.
– Confident working with Project Managers, Developers, Architects and Support teams.
– Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
– Ability to identify delivery risks and quality issues and take proactive action.
– Experience reviewing project documentation and deliverables.
– Comfortable managing challenging conversations and customer expectations.
– Exposure to ITIL, Agile, PRINCE2 or similar delivery frameworks.
– Background in consultancy, project management or service delivery within a fast-paced technology environment.
