An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior / Lead Project Manager to join a growing technology and consultancy environment.

This is a key role for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Project Manager looking to take the next step in their career. You will lead Business Central implementation projects from initiation through to completion, with the opportunity to take on additional responsibility for supporting and developing the wider Project Management team.

Working closely with clients, Consultants, Developers and senior stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered successfully while helping to drive consistent project management standards, quality and continuous improvement across the function.

Key Responsibilities

– Lead and manage Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation projects from initiation through to completion.
– Manage projects within agreed scope, timelines and budgets, maintaining clear delivery plans.
– Coordinate cross-functional teams including Consultants, Developers and Support teams.
– Monitor project progress, milestones, risks and issues, taking proactive action to keep projects on track.
– Provide regular project updates to clients, internal stakeholders, senior leadership and external partners.
– Build strong client relationships and ensure a consistently high standard of delivery and customer service.
– Support and mentor Project Managers and project teams, sharing best practice and supporting professional development.
– Act as a senior point of escalation for client, project and delivery issues.
– Establish and maintain consistent project management standards, templates and processes.
– Oversee quality control and ensure project deliverables meet agreed standards and best practices.
– Ensure effective handover between Sales, Delivery and Support, with clear ownership and customer expectations.
– Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement across the project management function.
– Contribute to the development and improvement of the organisation’s Business Central project delivery methodology.

Key Experience

– 5+ years’ experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV projects within a Microsoft Partner environment.
– Strong ERP project management experience across the full implementation lifecycle.
– Excellent customer-facing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
– Strong understanding of project objectives, business requirements and commercial considerations.
– Experience managing projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
– Proven ability to take ownership, make informed decisions and manage competing priorities.
– Experience supporting, mentoring or leading Project Managers or project teams.
– Strong organisation, planning, problem-solving and risk management skills.
– Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

– Experience with Dynamics NAV/Business Central vertical solutions such as LS Central, Tasklet Factory, MobileNAV or Sana Commerce.
– Experience delivering cloud-based ERP solutions.
– Knowledge of MS Project, Jira or Confluence.
– PRINCE2 Agile, PMP or similar project management certification.
